In exporting for CD at one point I am asked to normalize the level and the default seems to be set at 0DBfs, does that mean that the level will be crancked up so the highest peak will be at 0dbfs? Usualy I would do the conversion with Voxengo R8brain (free version) and then prepare the 'authoring' with Steinberg Wavelab. I am about to prepare a CD from 96K/24B multitracks to a stereo 44.1/16b CD.
I am learning Mixbus3 and find it very good in the sense that it does what I need it to do, the way I am used to do things, ie: a big console and a mutitrack, mixing down to two tracks masters.
